Alexi Marmot is Founding Director of AMA, Alexi Marmot Associates and Professor of Facility and Environment Management at the Bartlett, UCL’s Faculty of the Built Environment. She has written books and articles on office workplaces and advised many public, private and non-profit organisations on workplace change using evidence-based design. She is currently researching the links between design, physical activity and non-sedentary behaviour in offices.

The Civil Service
The Civil Service does the practical and administrative work of government. More than half of all civil servants provide services direct to the public.
We welcome a range of stories from civil servants to this blog, if you would like to share something then email for details on how to get involved.
