Sir Andrew Dilnot was appointed as the Chair of the Geospatial Commission on 1 January 2019. From 2012 to 2017, Sir Andrew was Chair of the UK Statistics Authority - the statutory body responsible for oversight of the Office for National Statistics and independent regulation of official statistics.
