Now the Pre-election Period is over, we thought it would be a good time to remind everybody about the moderation guidelines for comments on posts. We will be using these from this point onwards.
The guidelines are there to ensure open debate about the blogs we post, and a chance for you to offer thoughts and ideas these might provoke.
The general rule of thumb before you post a comment is:
Is this on topic, does it add constructive value to the discussion and can UK Civil Service answer publicly?
We try and approve most comments within 24 hours during the week, but if it's a particularly popular post or we need to get some advice this may take a bit longer.
