Liz currently works on High Speed 2, leading on plans for development around Crewe. She’s been a Civil Servant for just over 11 years and her career highlight to date has to be working on London 2012, including being Private Secretary to the Minister for the Olympics in the run up to and during the Games.
DfT's Liz Wilson thought she'd magically develop 'leadership skills' once she made DD, but she realised the key to becoming a good leader is to recognise the team not the hierarchy.
