Introducing the new GPP Governing Board

Following the membership-wide trawl for nominations to the newly-constituted Government Property Profession Board we are pleased to announce the following have been successful:

Deborah Rowland, Ministry of Justice: Facilities Management

Richard McKinney, Defence Infrastructure Organisation: Planning & Development, Environment, Infrastructure, Geomatics and Building Control

Ronald Heeley, VOA: Quantity Surveying and Construction

Rachel Brown, Department for Transport: Project Management

Niall Walsh, VOA: Valuation

Richard Waterhouse, VOA: Residential

Jason Essenhigh, HCA: Commercial Surveying

In addition to the above, the following have offered their services to support the lead members in their responsibilities:

Peter Penney, HMRC: Facilities Management

Jane Hallett, Defence Infrastructure Organisation: Environment

Richard Bryan, VOA: Quantity Surveying and Construction

Patrick Donohue, GPU: Commercial Surveying (Investment)

Everyone is looking forward to a new and exciting period in the development of the profession under the new governance team.  Sherin Aminossehe will chair the Board as Head of Profession and will continue to be supported by Andrew Howarth as Head of Capability Improvement.  The current GPP Capability Improvement Plan can be found here.
