Clare Moriarty took up her appointment as the Permanent Secretary for the Department for Exiting the European Union in April 2019. She was previously Permanent Secretary for the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs from August 2015.
From October 2017, Clare also acted as the Civil Service Champion for Faith and Belief.
